Hold the Door Open
Hold the door open…
For those coming after you
For those who will arrive in their own time
For those who will arrive in their own way
For those carrying a heavy load
For those that need a lift or a ladder
Or simply a hand.
Hold the door open…
For creativity and innovation and different perspectives
For diversity of all kinds.
Hold the door open…
For the wisdom of yesterday
For the hope of tomorrow
For the joy to come.

Your poem is an inspiration. I will share it with my daughter, mother of ADD-Inattentive OHI classified, wonderful 12 year old. I think so much comes to my in- box bc I subscribe to Attitude Mag & webinars.
Your site appears quite a good one, particularly for families of young children. I am going to pass it on to our advocate who works with many families of young children. We met when my grandson was 3 at onset of autism diagnosis he stooped meeting ADOS 2 & Neuro- Psyh eval long overdue at 8 years old.
Only bc my in box is too overly full I ask to be unsubscribed but will keep note to always recommend at appropriate time….like a CHAAD meeting, or to a friend. Thank you Penny & Sarah for your beneficial service.

I hold the door open by uplifting all students by complimenting, discussing shared interests, being interested in their conversations, showing attention, love and affection.
